Next year my oldest daughter will be in college and my son and youngest daughter will be in high school. My oldest daughter plays violin and electric guitar (and was in a country band playing lead guitar for 2 years). My son plays ice hockey for the high school team, but it is a club team rather than a school sponsored team. He played trombone in middle school, but the commitment (time and money) to the high school bands here is incredible, so he doesn't play anymore. My youngest daughter plays the cello. She is short like me and it is funny to see her with a big cello. I have a funny story about Oshkosh. When my youngest daughter was 2 (still in diapers) we were at the EAA airshow in Oshkosh. A man walked up behind me and said "I just want you to know that you and your daughter walk just alike." OK, does that mean that I walk like I am wearing diapers!!??
My mom and dad live in Appleton for half of the year. I have an aunt and two cousins living there also. I was in Appleton last summer. It is such a small world. I can't wait to catch up and find out about your life over the last 20 years.
Hey John,
Glad you found us. Hope things are good with you. Wisconsin, huh? Looks like we have all spread all over the country, well the whole globe really. We had some laughs back in the day, huh? BTW the OACB rocks!
Take it easy,
Scott
No no no, I had nothing to do with setting up the site. This was Scott's idea entirely. My only contribution was to upload the videos of our parades, and that was REALLY my Mom's doing (she had saved the VHS tapes all these years, and was able to convert them to DVD). Glad you found the site and joined up. We need some more activity these days, the traffic seems to be slowing down.
