Hey Scott, I think we have another spammer. I have a friend request from Jen Thomas?? And she has a message about making money from her computer, or something like that.

Yes, I'm in Wisconsin! I told my family I'm in the Federal Witness Protection Program.

It's good to see some old names (and faces) from high school. That seems like a lifetime ago.

It was sad to read of Lisa Bowlin's passing. I remember her well -- very sweet-natured and soft-spoken.

I was showing this site to my wife the other night. Told her about riding around with you in that huge old battleship-sized Ninety-Eight after band practice. She just rolled her eyes and shook her head.

Hey Scott.
I'm doing fine, for an old man! :-p

I'm so glad for this web site. I've been wondering what all you folks have been up to these many years later...

Chris - lol at the comment you left re. the Mustang with the locked glove box. We used to have a Trans Am (or two) where you could take the keys out of the ignition while the car was running. Somebody told me one time about riding in such a car, and in their infinite wisdom they pulled the keys out and gave them to a fussy baby-occupant of the vehicle as they drove down the road. Worked like a charm until the little monkey tossed the keys out the open window...

Hi again! I would be so grateful if you would post it for me. I'm currently in nursing school and my time is ...well, I have no time! lol I know that Lisa's family would be touched if they knew that she was being remembered. I appreciate all that you're doing with this website Scott, I know it must be time consuming. Thanks again for your help! Let me know if you need anything...if I can help, I will! Take Care~ Gail :o)

Hey Scott! I wasn't sure what the protocol was (for the "In Memory of" page...), you are probably already aware of this but Lisa Bowlin Abney passed away from an aneurysm(stroke) about 8 or 9 years ago. I can't be sure of the exact time frame...we were living in Okinawa, Japan when I received the letter. She left behind a husband & 3 young children. Do you remember her? She was a clarinet player? Graduated in 1982. A really, really nice girl. One of the only people from HS that I kept in touch with throughout college & after I got married. We used to write to each other all of the time. She was a great person. I wasn't sure if you wanted this type of info. for the website...if you don't, then disregard! :o) Have a great week! Gail

What's your fondest memory of the band?
I remember being in New Orleans for Mardi Gras; cruising around with a few friends. We bought some kazoos and put on a performance of "Darktown Strutter's Ball" for the crowd on the street. We had a rep from each section plus percussion so we really laid it down to much appreciation from the crowd.

If you build it...They will come.

Well we'll see anyway. I know it has been quite a while, and frankly I haven't kept up with very many folks over these years. But I know a few still and if I track them down and sign them up, maybe they know a few others and will contact them. Then they will send a link to a few others; and so on...and so on...
Anyway, I thought it might be fun to set this up and see who shows up. This is your chance to prove you meant all those nice things you wrote in my annual.
Love ya, all,
