Close, John - it was a Chrysler Newport. Still a boat, though. It was more fun when she drove the old New Yorker and we could have "window races" to see which electric window wanted to roll down fastest. However, the high point of the week probably WAS "Good Morning, Americans - IT'S FRIDAY!" on Paul Harvey every week. And you could fit more sousaphones/bass drums into the New Yorker.

Don't I remember that Red Mustang? I spent a lot of time in it over the years. I found some "Collins" living still on Hardwick still and sent them a note hoping they could pass it on to Keith if they were related. No response. I'm still hopeful he will get word of this somehow.

Moved here for a job also. Took over a pediatric practice so my boss could try other things ... just keeping the money coming in while he finds himself

Greetings John .... Damn, I thought I was the only one crazy enough to move to Tenn. I live about an hour away down I-24 in Marion county. Good to see you on the site. Charlie Tuna

quick reply - i'm on the road now. we were definitely NOT the first VHS owners. My parents had a friend who WAS much the gadget freak, and he had one that my Mom borrowed to record the games. I remember it was a huge box, at least 30 in x 24 in x 12 in. My Mom saved them all these years, and while I often accuse her of being a pack-rat, it came in handy in this situation.
