Thanks for the correction Eric. I had graduated by then, but my brother Greg was still in the band and that's why our mother recorded it.

For what it's worth, this was actually on January 2, 1984, not New Year's Day. We were fortunate to be invited in a year when New Year's Day fell on a Sunday...fortunate in that we were able to celebrate at midnight New Year's Eve (at Disneyland); otherwise, I'm sure we would have had a curfew of something like 7 p.m.! Thanks so much for posting!

Yes, I am sure this is Jan 1984, because I have a newspaper article (I think I tried to post it) that Mom had saved. Plus various internet searches confirmed it was 1984.

I think I can see my brother Greg at the end. It is so quick...
